Behind the Treddy API
- BankID: Swedish e-ID.
- FTN: Finnish e-ID through the Finnish Trust Network.

Problem
Treddy is a startup that reduces fraud in online marketplaces. The product depends on identity, payment and shipping providers, and on partners who build on top of it.
My role
I led the technical architecture and development, as a consultant through Skoglit. From December 2022 I also built the Treddy Developer Platform and helped onboard partners onto it.
Decisions
I built one API layer with real-time webhooks and connected it to each provider.
The core. Treddy's own product reduces fraud in online marketplaces. Every integration below connects to it.
Identity. Users identify with BankID or the Finnish Trust Network.
Payments. Stripe, Swish and Ping Payments handle payments.
Shipping. nShift and Schenker handle delivery.
Partner API. Partners call a REST API with OAuth and receive webhook events in real time. This is the Treddy Developer Platform.
Result
Six partners integrated through the platform. I also worked on the developer docs.
